This page documents my real-world health and fitness journey in a simple, transparent way. Alongside my weekly Google Fitbit activity stats, I also share weekly weigh-ins and body composition measurements to show what’s really changing over time – not just what looks good on a step counter.
The weekly Fitbit stats track movement, activity, sleep, heart rate and general consistency. The weekly weigh-ins focus on the bigger picture: body weight, composition, and long-term trends. Together, they tell a much more honest story of progress – the wins, the plateaus, and everything in between.
I’m sharing this for accountability and realism. Progress after 50 isn’t about perfection or extreme routines. It’s about showing up, building habits, and letting time do its work. Some weeks look great, others don’t – and that’s exactly the point.
And of course, there’s a challenge.
Can you beat my stats? Walk more, sleep better, improve your body composition, or simply stay consistent for longer. Use these numbers as motivation, not comparison. If they encourage you to move more, eat a little better, or take your health seriously, then this page has done its job. If I can do this in my 50s, anyone can.
